Overview

Dr. Arjun M. C. obtained his MBBS degree from Government Medical College, Kozhikode, and his MD in Community Medicine from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. As an early-career researcher, he published multiple articles in reputed national and international peer-reviewed journals. He was a Senior Resident at AIIMS Bhubaneswar before joining St. John’s Research Institute, Bengaluru, as a Clinical Research Training Programme Fellow (Wellcome Trust DBT India Alliance). Later, he was awarded the prestigious GloCal Health Fellowship, sponsored by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Fogarty International Center, USA, and administered by the University of California Global Health Institute, for his project on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) for adolescent mental health. Dr. Arjun is currently advancing the application of artificial intelligence for mental health disorders among adolescents and young adults, translating AI into public health practice, and contributing to virtual reality projects for youth in global health settings.
